Our Mission
The School of Social Work and Behavioral Health houses two separate degree programs:
- Bachelor Of Science, Counseling Psychology
- Bachelor Of Social Work
The uniqueness of our School is that graduates are well equipped to work with clients from diverse backgrounds without imposing their own values on their clients. Additionally, each program’s curriculum is infused with a Christ centered approach which supports students’ character development and brings a strong sense of purpose to their career choice.
In addition to classroom instruction, both degree programs offer opportunities for students to experience the “real world” through service projects, international service opportunities, professional conferences, agency volunteer experiences, and a practicum (internship) in a social service agency.
The Bachelor of Social Work Program is accredited by the Council on Social Work Education (CSWE).
