“The mission of the General Education Department is to provide opportunity for transformative learning and a framework within which students begin that transformative process of being equipped as Christian professionals to competently respond to ever changing professional demands. We are committed to providing opportunities for place bound students to pursue degrees at KCU ensuring that courses and degrees offered online support KCU’s vision as found in The KCU Way Handbook. The General Education Department is also committed to providing opportunities for students to begin developing the knowledge, skills and dispositions necessary to successfully serve in a world challenged by the confluence of cultural perspectives.”
History/Pre-Law Degree
The mission of the History/Pre-Law Program is to lay a foundation of knowledge which will prepare students for entrance into law school and/or graduate studies in history. This program places special emphasis upon encouraging students to assume positions of Christian leadership in their chosen field of endeavor.
University Studies Degree
The mission of the major in University Studies is to provide maximum flexibility for the student to pursue a wide range of interests while still ensuring a basic core of education in Bible and general studies.
